ME & MY WORK

Coaching with me
Hi, I’m Diane - welcome!

I help clients to reconnect with their imagination and reignite their inner spark, building a foundation to move forward with clarity and confidence - both personally and professionally.

I bring energy, creativity, and a sense of playfulness to my practice. My approach is collaborative and non-directive, yet gently challenging. We are on this journey together.
I value building a strong, supportive relationship that provides the container for the growth and transformation you want to make.

Coaching isn’t about me giving advice or telling you what to do. I work from the belief that you are the expert on you. My role is to help you access your inner wisdom through honest and meaningful conversation.

As a duaI-trained practitioner, I work on the boundaries of therapy and coaching. It might be relevant to ask you about your past, where what happened then might influence your goals going forward.

I'm attuned to listening deeply, to read the subtext in our dialogue.
What's really going on here?
What isn't being said?
What unhelpful patterns are emerging here?

My journey
At the heart of my work is one-to-one conversation. I work as a coach, drawing on a lifetime of creative and therapeutic work with people navigating uncertainty, change, and growth.

I began my career as a sportswear designer in the early 90s, with international brands, including Reebok and Ellesse. I gained experience in commercial product design for global markets, sourcing, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. I worked with some fantastic people and travelled extensively. At 29, I moved from 'employee' to 'consultant', driven by the desire for freedom and autonomy - not the easiest path, but ultimately it has shaped the direction of my life, and I've been self-employed ever since.
By my early 30's, I was exhausted and felt a strong urge to reignite my creativity and find deeper meaning in my life. I exchanged 'designing products' for 'working with people'. I discovered belonging and absolute joy as a community artist, delivering creative workshops in community, mental health, educational, and hospital settings, where I witnessed firsthand human courage and the healing power of art.
At the same time, I began a four-year psychotherapy training course in Transactional Analysis, a deep and rewarding reflective learning journey that has given me the privilege of working 1-1 with clients from all walks of life for 15 years.
In 2016, I founded The Imagination Box. My mission was to empower teachers and parents to connect with kids in ways words cannot.
I create printable art activities, making art education accessible and affordable for kids of all abilities and backgrounds. Teachers and homeschoolers tell me that these activities are particularly useful for social-emotional learning - the power of creativity can help us grow, at any age.
I’ve recently proudly celebrated over 250,000 downloads of my digital art resources worldwide.

So here I am today, preparing to launch my young adults into the world, creating art projects for kids, and evolving from 'therapist' to 'therapeutic coach'.
I began my 'Therapist to Coach' training in September 2025, and I'm excited to see what the future brings!
